During a period of retreat in Đà Nẵng, far from the noise of the world and close to the heart of my origins, a deep conversation with the Buddhist nun Ni Su Trí Tuệ led me to an insight that could no longer be ignored: The world does not suffer from a lack of knowledge. It suffers from a lack of belonging, orientation, and inner peace. In the clarity of her mind and the gentleness of her heart, I came to understand that compassion is not merely a feeling, it is a responsibility.

In that moment, the TÂM AN Foundation was born. Tâm means heart. An means inner peace.

But its origin was illuminated through our encounter.

The TÂM AN Foundation was created for the people of Vietnam — for their hearts, their souls, their stories. This is where the origin, the need, and the first field of impact of our mission lie.

Ni Su Trí Tuệ is a spiritual guide of the TÂM AN Foundation. Her wisdom forms a vital pillar of our vision.

This foundation is not a project. It is a promise:

  • a place where people are heard,
  • a bridge between spiritual wisdom and modern life reality,
  • a response to a quiet, steady growing need in Vietnam and beyond.

The TÂM AN Foundation does not serve prestige. It serves the human heart. It was founded because no one should have to walk through darkness alone. It was founded because peace begins where a heart feels truly seen. It was founded because we could no longer do otherwise.
